Falmouth Scientific,
Inc. (FSI), a worldwide leader in precision instrumentation for oceanographic
applications, has an immediate need for a qualified electronic engineer to
oversee and develop the core technology for our largest product line of
current, wave, and tide measurement systems.
The ideal person will
have at least 5 years of experience in the engineering and design of ocean
sensors and systems. This person would mainly be responsible for design
and support of the cutting edge technology used in our oceanographic
instruments and ocean engineering projects around the world. Working with a
small team of experienced design engineers you will also have the opportunity
to be involved in other company R&D projects as well.
We need you to have
experience in the design and implementation of analog and digital
systems, with Windows based Graphical User Interface software, and with
programming in C and C++, QBASIC, Labview, or similar languages. You must be a team player who’s not afraid to
roll up your sleeves or get a little wet.
FSI is a small,

located on Cape Cod, just a few minutes from the Canal bridges, in the heart of
the oceanographic community that includes WHOI, MBL, and many other
organizations.
